Social Celebration | Audrey’s Fall Festival
There’s a few perks to being born in October, one of those being that every birthday party you throw can be fall themed! Warm, soft colors and delicious sweet & savory treats, what more could you ask for? Audrey’s first birthday party, her fall festival, consisted of all of the above. We decorated Audrey’s backyard with lots of pumpkins, gourds, and splashes of fall color that made this event one for the books!
Festive Kids Display
Audrey’s fall festival was every childs dream come true, with an autumn-themed array of delicious treats. Caramel apple fondue, fresh fruit brochettes, and a kids charcuterie board decorated this display – the spread consisted of marshmallows, chocolate chip cookies, yogurt pretzels, berries and so much more. Not only was this mouth-watering spread full of different flavors, but it was an interactive activity for both adults and kids. This spread didn’t only feature sweet-filled tastes, but was also composed of baby iceberg wedge salad skewers, cheese skewers, and butter popcorn.
The adults area
This fall festival may have been a kid-focused event, but that doesn’t mean the adults can’t have their own section! The fall crostini spread featured delicious hor d’oeuvres dips such as baked brie with fruits & honey, whipped feta, hummus, taapenade, roasted eggplant spread, and savory & sweet jams. Accompanying these delectable dips were everything seasoned lavash, baguettes, cuban bread crostini, vegetables and pickles. Other hor d’oeuvres included in this spread were short ribbed sliders, cuban cigars, and pulled chicken and roasted apple & pancetta flatbreads. Served in mini carved out pumpkins, we curated a petite kale, spinach & chicory salad with cranberries, walnuts and a champagne, herbed vinaigrette. To top everything off, adults could get a little boo-zy with a caramel appletini or spiked apple cider!
autumn-themed decor
An October event wouldn’t be complete without some warm colored decor, and this event didn’t fall short! Doors were adorned with fall-colored wreaths, pumpkin patch inspired garland and gourds littered the backyard venue, and pops of soft colored autumn elements tied the whole theme together. We may be a catering company, but heavenly food isn’t our only skill. Our esteemed event planners really know how to design the perfect backdrop for any of life’s celebrations!
Interactive holiday activities
You can’t celebrate a children’s birthday party without fun activities to keep both the kids and adults entertained! Audrey’s fall festival offered an array of fun projects that doubled as take-home goodies, including a pumpkin decorating table, face painting station, and the previously mentioned food station. These activities brought Audrey’s fall festival to a new level and sent everyone home with cherished memories.
