Weddings | Molly & Kyle

Armature Works is one of our most esteemed venues. Offering multiple spaces both small and large, outdoor and indoor amenities, and a gorgeous view of Tampa Bay, you simply can’t go wrong. The rustic brick backdrop and dog-friendly aspects tied the knot in Molly & Kyle’s decision to have their wedding in the Armature Works Theatre space. The venue was adorned with geometric gold niceties among the navy, sage & dark green color scheme and matching plants and florals decorated each table. This January wedding meshed perfectly with the mild and modern color palette, and the guests were happily surprised with themed his and her cocktails and Lilo, a spunky (and absolutely adorable) French Bulldog.

If you’re anything like me, the thought of incorporating your pup into your big day is a dream come true. With the help of FairyTale Petcare, Lilo joined the celebration and put smiles on everyone’s faces. And being a very dog-friendly venue, Armature Works was pleased to welcome Lilo to the party! Speaking of adorable, the couple was able to take some photos with their little Frenchie that will be forever cherished, thanks to FairyTale Petcare! Not to mention, Lilo was honored to be a part of the celebration, (although we weren’t able to get a quote from her directly). Making your wedding memorable is the #1 goal in addition to matrimony, and Lilo single-paw-edly did just that for Molly & Kyle!

In addition to simply being present during the celebration, Lilo did quite a bit more than that. She also happened to star as their wedding mascot, becoming an illustrated logo on their seating chart, cocktail napkins, koozies, and the bar was named after her. According to Molly & Kyle, the highlight of their wedding was being able to see Lilo after the ceremony, and the guests absolutely adored her! Although we aren’t sure if Lilo had a chance to try the delicious catered food, the guests sure loved it!

Before you get to the finish line, there’s a lot of things a couple needs to figure out, and likely a few hurdles they’ll have to overcome. To give you a little backdrop on this particular love story, Molly and Kyle met in college at the University of Florida and dated for seven years before tying the knot. Just like their wedding decor, Kyle’s proposal to Molly was simple and romantic. Luckily, Marry Me Tampa Bay was on top of the details, and grabbed some “behind the scenes” information about just how special Molly & Kyle’s proposal was!

Right before Christmas, they packed up and headed to Asheville, NC. Although neither of them had ever been before, they were on a mission to see the Biltmore in all its holiday glory and to get into the Christmas spirit. In Molly’s exact words, “He (Kyle) let me sleep in and then was trying to persuade me to get out of bed by bringing me coffee and offering to make me breakfast. I finally agreed to wake up and went on the back porch to drink my coffee. We had this incredible view overlooking the city and mountains. Before I knew it, in my PJs and with bed head, Kyle was on one knee asking me to be his wife. It was perfect! Simple, just us, and early in the morning! The rest of the weekend we celebrated and had the best trip ever.” A perfect morning and a perfect beginning to Molly & Kyle’s romantic love story!
