Hurricane Ian | Relief Efforts
It’s hurricane season in Florida, which means our incredible team members are prepared to put some hard work into showing our appreciation for those who keep our community safe! Over this past week, our staff spent hours on end to ensure that our communities’ emergency personnel were supplied with the food they needed to get through their difficult shifts during the storm. In the wake of hurricane Ian, our team members worked around the clock preparing food service to thousands of emergency personnel.
Helping our local communities is a family affair here at Puff ‘n Stuff. We are committed to doing our part, and our wonderful staff helped us to achieve that goal this past week! Pictured below (top left), Chef Jimmy and his two sons are Orlando-based team members working through hurricane Ian to provide our emergency personnel with meals. Another awesome team member, Dylan, (top middle) worked tirelessly to pack meals that were delivered to emergency personnel working in areas affected by the hurricane. Our entire staff put their own needs to the side to make sure that our communities protectors were well taken care of.
Our team’s hard work and dedication to our emergency personnel continues, and will always be one of our top priorities. Our managers, team members, chefs, warehouse personnel and everyone in between set their roles to the side to work together and get these meals made and out the door as quickly as possible. We’re so grateful for the humble, hard working team that we have on board! Our hearts go out to everyone that Hurricane Ian impacted, and we plan to do everything we can to make sure these folks are provided with the relief they need. Although we’ve saying goodbye to hurricane Ian here in Florida, this is only the beginning of hurricane season and we’re preparing our staff for the next that comes around!
