Real Weddings | Amanda + Thomas | Winthrop Barn Theatre
August 6, 2013 by Puff 'n Stuff | comments

The Winthrop Barn Theatre is a departure from the average barn, and it was the ideal venue for Amanda and Thomas’ romantic spring wedding! Nestled in the town of Brandon, just outside of Tampa, the Winthrop Barn Theatre is spacious and absolutely charming.

Amanda and Thomas’ big day was nothing short of perfection – delicious food, great company, and a picturesque setting made the night one to remember by all. The barn’s ceiling lights twinkled down on the wedding festivities, and the décor’s subtle hues and clean lines were effortlessly elegant.

The evening began with savory butler-passed hors d’oeuvres including spring rolls, hot asiago stuffed fried olives, and mini soft pretzel nuggets complete with porter cheese queso. Amanda and Thomas offered a delicious, casual dinner spread of fun food stations including Quesadillas, Buffalo Chicken Macaroni and Cheese, and  Mini Sliders & Dogs. With fresh movie popcorn and mini vanilla ice cream cones, the night truly ended in a sweet way!

Thank you to this sweet couple for allowing us to be a part of their big day. Continue reading to explore their gorgeous photos and scrumptious menu!

Real Weddings | Connie + CJ | The Orlando Science Center
February 14, 2012 by Puff 'n Stuff | comments

Today we are featuring Connie and CJ’s gorgeous wedding held at The Orlando Science Center. With Spectacular food, a beautiful venue, and all of their friends and family to share their special day – Connie and CJ had all of the elements needed to make for a perfect night.

From their beautiful ceremony at Lake Formosa to their lively reception in the Orlando Science Center, the entire affair was a fun and romantic reflection of their love together. We especially love the unique ways that the couple incorporated CJ’s Filipino culture into their grand celebration. Following the ceremony, the night’s entertainment started out on an exciting note with authentic Philippine dances; the performers had the entire Dino Digs room in applause! As the night progressed, guests enjoyed making the rounds to each of the Chef Bars, and live entertainment had every one on the dance floor. When the cake cutting was announced, everyone gathered around to admire the exquisite cake featuring traditional Kanji symbols and a barong pattern. To compliment the cake, delicious desserts were butler-passed and the coffee bar was opened to toast the night. Congratulations to Connie and CJ, and thank you for letting us join in your celebration!

Real Weddings | Christine + Scott | The Palmetto Club
January 24, 2012 by Puff 'n Stuff | comments

Today we are featuring Christine and Scott’s wedding held at The Palmetto Club. The couple’s elegant style and decor was a perfect fit for The Palmetto Club’s beautifully manicured gardens and gorgeous ballroom. From start to finish, their special day was impeccable!

Great weddings are all about thoughtful details that show the couple’s personality and their care for their guests. Christine and Scott surprised their guests by replacing traditional centerpieces with beautiful and differently flavored cakes. Their guests couldn’t wait to find out what flavor was at their table. Before the “big reveal,” guests made their way to the delicious buffet that Christine and Scott, with the help from our Special Event Planner Aymee Brace, hand-selected for their family and friends to indulge in. Another special element that we loved about this wedding is the way Christine and Scott integrated their children into the wedding ceremony; it was the perfect start for their new lives together. Christine and Scott’s wedding was stunning, and we’re so happy to have been a part of their special day!

Real Events | Justin’s Barnyard Bash! | Private Residence
December 27, 2011 by Puff 'n Stuff | comments

Justin turned two, and to celebrate his mother organized this amazing themed birthday party! Justin’s birthday had everything a two-year old could ever want – a petting zoo, balloon maker, a swimming pool, and a birthday buffet of his dreams. And to ensure everyone had something to enjoy, this shindig featured two buffets: one for the kids and one for the adults.

The kids feasted on their favorites such as animal-shaped grilled cheese’s sandwiches; and the adult’s had their own decadent buffet with goat cheese lollipops, farmer’s bread bowls,  pulled pork sliders, and racks of succulent BBQ ribs.  In keeping with the theme, the food was displayed in a barnyard style! The fresh seasonal fruit salad was served in an adorable watermelon bowl carved as a pig, food was served out of pails and baskets, and to top it off they even drank out of boot shaped glasses! Justin loved his Barnyard Birthday cake with mini animal cupcakes, and a pasture of cake pop cows and chickens in wheat grass. Look below for more barnyard fun!

“A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.” – Paul Cezanne

The Orlando Museum of Art is a unique romantic setting for a wedding. Filled with exquisite paintings and sculptures, it’s challenging to find another venue that compares to it’s elegant and artistic setting.

Today we are featuring Natalie and Donnie’s picture-perfect wedding reception held in the Grand Galley at the Orlando Museum of Art. Guests were welcomed through the museum’s Rotunda to a plethora of delectable butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, and a bar featuring our specialty Pear Mojito and Gingered Pomegranate Martinis with a splash of candied ginger. Soon after, the couple had their first dance, which of course called for a champagne toast in their honor!

Following the toasts, guests took their seats to enjoy the inventive plated dinner designed by Puff n’ Stuff Catering exclusively for Natalie and Donnie’s wedding. Two artistically crafted courses were served garnished with pink and green flowers, playing on the theme of the night.  To conclude the evening, a large assortment of dessert trays were displayed and guests helped themselves to a variety of luxurious sweets including cheesecake lollipops, macaroons, and strawberry cheesecake topped with white chocolate mousse, all to complement their delicious wedding cake.  It was such an exquisite evening in the picturesque space of The Orlando Museum of Art!
