We love partyin’ with the Best! Last month, Puff ‘n Stuff Catering had the opportunity to take part in AFR Furniture Rental’s Annual Showcase, “History in the Making,” at the Orange County Regional History Center.

Each year, this stylin’ shindig transforms a popular venue with over-the-top event furniture and décor, and of course themed cuisine and drinks. We were honored to be a featured caterer and take part in the fun!

The History Center was completely decked out from the third floor courtroom to the Heritage Square Courtyard, and AFR’s latest and greatest created a unique theme in each space. Heritage Square and the first floor atrium rocked red carpet glamour, while the second floor was a time machine to the 80’s. And Puff ‘n Stuff Catering hosted guests in the third floor’s “Roaring 20’s” Courtroom, giving our team a chance to show off their flapper style! Guests enjoyed elegant Tuna ‘Tini’s as they were transported back to our 1920’s speak-easy, and we loved every moment of it too.

Buenos Dias! And welcome to the Puff ‘n Stuff Catering blog! Today, we are showcasing a fun-filled Latin-themed wedding rehearsal dinner at the Dali Museum in St.Petersburg, Florida.

To kick off this event guests enjoyed an over-the-top cocktail hour with Puff ‘n Stuff Catering’s custom mojito and sangria bar.  Signature cocktails including mangos mojito and sparkling black cherry mojitos were displayed buffet style in large glass cocktail dispensers, pre-mixed for instant satisfaction. Cuban-themed hors d’ouevres were butler-passed by our team, who were all wearing large handlebar mustaches in honor of the museum’s namesake. They had a blast sporting the Dali mustaches and dressing to the theme, as did the guests who were also invited to join in the fun.

Following the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed our Classic Caprese Salad and delicious Paella Valencia served at chef attended stations from authentic paella pans. The exciting meal was brought to a fun conclusion as guests sipped freshly brewed Cuban coffee and enjoyed our café con leche flan, complete with a Chocolate Dali mustache to tie this clever theme together!

Summer lovin’ and having a blast! Today’s featured wedding by An Affair To Remember really shows how a true summer wedding should be thrown. Beginning their big day at the beautiful Ritz Carlton, the couple wed and held an elegant cocktail hour at the luxury resort. The party then relocated to the bride’s parent’s home for a fairytale reception!

As guests arrived, they were greeted happily by Puff ‘n Stuff Catering staff with butler-passed beverage service and our delicious Red Pepper Hummus and Hand-Smashed Avocado Dip with freshly baked artisan bread and pita chips for dipping. Once guests settled in, a live band, Powerhouse, took the stage and got the party going! The dance floor filled, and then the crowd cleared to spy the cute couple as they had their first dance under the exquisite orchid and crystal chandelier by Raining Roses. After dancing up a storm, friends and family lined up for the feast Puff ‘n Stuff Catering had prepared for them. Four Dual Chef Attended Stations were set, displaying our culinary creations freshly cooked right before the guests eyes.

Dessert featured their beautiful wedding cake created by The Sugar Suite, along with Bananas Foster Flambe and “Create Your Own Sundae” stations, provided by Puff ‘n Stuff Catering. To conclude the evening, a stunning fireworks show choreographed to music lit up the night sky as guests were served cheesecake lollipops, and cookies and milk shots.
